David Boyd

Rideau Lakes, Ontario, Canada

David Boyd was brought up on Vancouver Island. As a young man he went East, to Ontario on business. He got lost in a snowstorm, struggled free and found a summer that lasted four months, a fall that paints the woods in Town Crier colours, and Christmas images that that make Ontario his home.

He Cries a lot, especially when he returns to the Pacific Northwest and sees what he is missing. But he still rembers to bring a raincoat!

David lives in a 130 year old heritage house in Rideau Lakes Township, Ontario and has cried and competed in Sidney and Victoria, BC, as well as Inverness, Scotland and Chester, England. In Chester at the World Tournament, David won a couple of prizes, but winning a first continues to be an ufulfilled dream. He will try harder!
